Using the same message for the recipient from the previous order
If you use the same message for the recipient as in a previous order (either by mistake or intentionally within a standing order), a duplicate order will be created in our system.
This happens if the wallet address and currency in the new order is the same as the previous one. The system will automatically adjust the amount of cryptocurrency according to the new payment sent and suspend all duplicate orders. This gives you as a client one last check to make sure everything in the order matches.
The suspended order can then be:
- confirmed with the current rate and delivered
- placed a limit order on it (link to limit payments)
- canceled and returned
You can avoid this situation by setting the Automatic rate confirmation for duplicate payments. This option can be found in Settings.
